Project objectives
The company Nexmachina, proposes collaboration in the design, manufacture and commissioning of a network of LoRAWAN antennas. The project consists of a series of stations that will be located in areas without access to the electricity supply network and therefore need to be powered by an alternative system. The purpose of this antenna system will be to control the livestock scattered throughout the mountains.
The initial proposal is to use photovoltaic panels or wind turbines, both of sufficient size and power to feed the infrastructure. At the same time, the network will be connected to Sarenet’s own network in order to carry out the remote control of the installation.
Tasks performed
- Choice, design and calculation of the most suitable feeding system.
- Manufacture of prototype to demonstrate the viability of the proposed design.
- Fabrication of a functional prototype for field testing.
- Seminar/training on the work carried out.
